A free public lecture, Can New Brunswick’s Population Time Bomb be Defused, will be held on Wednesday, April 27, at 7 p.m. at the Charlotte St. Arts Centre.
It will be given by Michael Haan, the Canada Research Chair in Population and Social Policy and a University of New Brunswick professor in the department of economics and sociology. He is the fourth lecturer to present in the inaugural Ideas that Matter speaker series.
The exciting new series, presented by the faculty of arts at UNB in Fredericton, features some of the university’s leading researchers in discussions about issues and challenges that live at the heart of the province’s social values, cultural perceptions and political motivations.
Each lecture is free and open to the public thanks to the support of New Brunswick businesses and the UNB Associated Alumni.
