Professor hopes research gives people a foot up on diabetes

If you have diabetes and a sore on your foot that just won't heal, then Stacey Reading wants to talk to you.
Actually, what the professor of kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick really wants to do is dunk your injured foot in oxygenated water to see if it will get better.
"This is something that no one has ever really ever looked at," he said in a recent interview.
"This is pretty new stuff in terms of what we are doing."
Reading said last year he was approached by a Fredericton company called InVentures Technologies Inc., which produces the equipment that puts the extra oxygen into water.
