Recognizing the additional lifetime earnings it generates, the lower probability of unemployment, and the intrinsic rewards derived in the process, many have long realized and obtained the benefits of a post-secondary education.
Some 14 per cent of New Brunswickers aged 15 and over had obtained an undergraduate degree in 2007, an increase from 7.8 per cent in 1990. For the class of 2010 - recent university graduates and high school students graduating this month - the time has never been better to possess or to be pursuing a university degree.
