UNB Fredericton to host lecture on math and music

On Thursday, June 3, the University of New Brunswick will host a free public lecture by Jason Brown, and his band, who will talk about the connections between math and music.
The lecture entitled A Hard Day's Math will take place at 6 p.m. at UNB Fredericton’s Student Union Building. A reception will follow.
Jason Brown is a professor of mathematics at Dalhousie University and frequently talks about mathematics on CBC radio and elsewhere.
The talk is in conjunction with the summer meeting of the Canadian Mathematical Society, being held at UNB Fredericton, June 3 to 6.
