The graduating class of 2021 has demonstrated great adaptability and determination having completed their final year of studies amidst global uncertainty and the disruption of traditional, in-person learning models – undoubtedly a challenging experience for most if not all UNB students.

With another virtual graduation ceremony planned, we want to celebrate our graduates and their many accomplishments as a community.

Our ask of you

If you have a congratulatory message for our graduating class, please send us a 10 to 15 second video that will be shared with our graduates via the virtual ceremony or on social media.

Students, graduates' families and supporters, faculty, staff, alumni, and UNB partners are all welcome to submit messages.

Technical Tips

Keep your phone vertically oriented.

Keep your video between 10 – 15 seconds maximum.

Don't introduce yourself in the video (we'll do that for you!).

Submitting your video

1. Email your video to before end of day, Friday, April 30.

  • Please specify whether you are a student, faculty, staff, alumni or partner/supporter.
  • Include the following personal identification information in your email, but not in your video:
    • Students (name, faculty, and year of study)
    • Faculty (name, job title, faculty/department)
    • Staff (name, job title, faculty/department/unit)
    • Alumni (name, faculty, graduation year)
    • Partners, family members and friends of graduates, supporters (name, affiliation to UNB)

Late submissions are welcome.

Watch these congrats to our Fall 2020 graduates for inspiration and ideas.

Please share this message widely so that we can gather as many words of congratulations and encouragement as possible for UNB's Class of 2021.

We look forward to receiving your submissions.
