The next UNBF Physics Department Seminar will be held on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 1:15 - 2:15 p.m., in the IUC Physics/Admin Bldg, 204.

Mustafa Afzal, UNBF, will discuss, Cosmological Perturbation Theory in a New Framework.

“The study of cosmological perturbations at the quantum level is rich and interesting. It potentially explains galaxy creation and the temperature fluctuations in an overwhelmingly-smooth cosmic microwave background (CMB)."

In this talk, I will review the standard method of studying cosmological perturbation theory. Following that I will demonstrate a new method of studying the same subject. Both approaches will be guided by the fact that we will eventually study these perturbations at the quantum level."

Please join us for Colloquium tea in P203 beforehand.
