Join UNB in honouring the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

Memorial events on both UNB campuses will be held today in honour of the 14 women whose lives were lost 30 years ago during the Montreal Massacre at the École Polytechnique on Dec. 6, 1989.

To mark the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, speakers will memorialize the victims, talk about current issues relating to gender-based violence, and discuss the gender imbalance present in STEM fields.

The Saint John ceremony will be held Friday, Dec. 6 at 12:30 p.m. in Oland Hall, 104. For more information, please contact Chris Dornan at doran@unb.ca.

The Fredericton ceremony will also be held Friday, Dec. 6 at 3 p.m. in the Dineen Auditorium, Head Hall. For more information, please contact Molly Boyle at mboyle2@unb.ca.
