The Mawoluhkhotipon Ally & Safe Space Program for Wabanaki and Indigenous Peoples is an innovative program that provides insight to Indigenous culture, historical background of colonization, and an understanding of what it means to be an ally. Developed in collaboration with Elders and Indigenous community members in New Brunswick, this program supports the mandate of UNB’s Truth and Reconciliation Strategic Action Plan to affirm, welcome and support Indigenous peoples who work, study and visit UNB Saint John.

Our next full-day session (Level 1 and Level 2) will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23. While it is important to take both levels in sequence, you are most welcome to attend just Level 1 if you wish.

For more information or to register for the sessions, please email us at

More sessions are being planned for Winter and Spring 2020, and details will be forthcoming.
