The UNB Co-Curricular Program will keep track of all of the extra-curricular activities you’ve done during your time at UNB and build you a portfolio that can be used towards a resume, grad schools, and more!

What is the Co-Curricular Program?

The Co-Curricular Program (CCP) is based around six themes: Career Development, Global & Cultural Awareness, Personal Development, Leadership & Entrepreneurship, Civic/Social Responsibility and Proudly UNB. The program is self-paced and can be completed throughout your time at UNB.

What is a co-curricular activity?

A co-curricular activity can be anything that is an extension of your formal learning and contributes to your overall life experience. Volunteering at a local charity, attending a workshop or lecture, taking a yoga class, acting in a play, or tutoring a classmate are all examples of co-curricular activities.

The Co-Curricular Program will:

  • Enrich your university experience beyond the classroom
  • Complement your degree and personalize your experience
  • Demonstrate personal, professional, and people skills to employers and graduate schools

The CCP will help you get involved around the local campus and community. Students who complete the program this year will be awarded with a certificate of completion at the Red Awards!

The program is accessed through the D2L Brightspace portal under “Free Course Registration.”
