Don't forget to get your flu shot. Influenza virus or “the flu” is a common upper respiratory infection. It often starts with a headache, body aches, chills, and a cough or sore throat. You may also develop a fever, loss of appetite, fatigue, runny nose, and sneezing. The flu can lead to missed time from school or work. It is very contagious, but also preventable.

Come join third-year nursing students in partnership with the UNB Student Health Center at one of the following sessions:

  • Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Human Resources Department in Room 106
  • Thursday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the STU gymnasium J.B. O’Keefe
  • Friday, Nov. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Harriet Irving Library

Sessions open to everyone.

Cost is $15 for students and $25 for others. Cash or cheque will be accepted. Please leave enough time for a mandatory 20-minute wait after your injection. Upcoming clinics to follow. For more information contact the UNB Student Health Center at go.unb.ca/studenthealth
