If you know students who live by the motto Non Nobis Solum: Not for Ourselves Alone, encourage them to apply for a Sir Howard Douglas Award.

Can I apply?
If students are involved in extracurricular or co-curricular activities, are in Year 3 or higher of an undergraduate degree program and have achieved Dean's List status in the previous year, they could be one of the 2020 Sir Howard Douglas Scholars! Part-time and full-time students are eligible to apply.

How do I apply?
To be considered for the Sir Howard Douglas Award, students need to complete the online application form found in their eServices (Academic tab) on or before October 30.

Applications are reviewed by the Undergraduate Awards Office, then by faculty. If faculty nominates a student, the Sir Howard Douglas selection committee, comprised of present Sir Howard Douglas Scholars and Senate Undergraduate Scholarship Committee members, will review the application along with the other nominees to decide who will be inducted into the Sir Howard Douglas Society at a dinner hosted by the President of UNB in March.

The Society encourages members to embody the motto Non noblis solum (not for ourselves alone). This is a great opportunity to network with motivated classmates from all faculties on both campuses.

Deadline to apply is October 30.

Contact the Undergraduate Awards Office at (506)453-4894 or, if you have any questions.
