Are you interested in helping advance exercise, obesity, and diabetes research in New Brunswick?

UNBF’s Faculty of Kinesiology is looking for male participants aged 19-60, who have not been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, and who are carrying extra body weight, to take part in the iFLEX Study. We are almost done recruitment, so we would greatly appreciate your help in finishing the project! Participation in this study involves a six-week commitment; the first week will involve baseline tests to measure various aspects of health and fitness, followed by a four-week exercise intervention. The final week will consist of post-testing measurements.

Taking part in this study will not only provide you with more information on your health and physical activity levels as well as a free supervised exercise intervention but will help others in our community struggling with their own.

Furthermore, by participating in the iFLEX Study, your name will be entered in a draw for a free one-month membership at The Richard J. CURRIE CENTER!

This study is on file with the UNB Research Ethics Board as UNB REB #2018-058.
