Are you interested in helping advance exercise, obesity, and diabetes research in New Brunswick?

UNBF’s Faculty of Kinesiology is looking for participants aged 19-60, who have not been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, and who are carrying extra body weight, to take part in the iFLEX Study. Participation in this study involves a six-week commitment; the first week will involve baseline tests to measure various aspects of health and fitness, followed by a four-week exercise intervention. The final week will consist of post-testing measurements.

Taking part in this study will not only provide you with more information on your health and physical activity levels as well as a free supervised exercise intervention but will help others in our community struggling with their own.

Furthermore, by participating in the iFLEX Study, your name will be entered in a draw for a FREE one-month membership at The Richard J. CURRIE CENTER.

This study is on file with the UNB Research Ethics Board as UNB REB #2018-058.
