Facilitators Bev Bramble and Emily Clark, CETL Instructional Designers, will host a session entitled, Distractions in the Classroom.

In this session, attendees will work in small groups with video vignettes produced by the University of Windsor that depict several examples of student behaviour that are disruptive to nearby students and often the whole class. Examples include smartphone distractions, students showing each other social media posts on their laptops, talking to one another, taking phone calls, arriving late, and leaving early. The goal of this session is to share experience and generate practical ideas of how to deal with such distractions.

To register for this session, please visit the CETL Event Registration site.
