UNB Cyber Security Lecture Series

Over the course of this semester, UNB will host the UNB Cyber Security Lecture Series featuring four speakers. The first three speakers and the times and dates of their appearance are:

Dr. Nasim Memon, Vice Dean for Academics and Student Affairs and a Professor of Computer Science at New York University will be giving a talk titled, "Seeing is Believing: Media Integrity in a Post Truth World," on Thursday, Sept. 26, from 7 - 9 p.m. in Bailey Hall, 146, UNB Fredericton campus.

Dr. Michael Warner, Command Historian, US Cyber Command, will be giving a talk titled, "The History and Future of Cyber Intelligence," on Monday, Oct. 7, from 7 - 9 p.m., in Toole Hall, 03, UNB Fredericton campus.

Dr. David Fahrenkrug from Georgetown University will be giving a talk titled, "Cyber Warfare and the State in the Information Age," on Tuesday, Nov. 5, from 7 - 9 p.m., at Philip W. Oland Hall, 104, UNB Saint John campus.

The lecture series was organized by The North American Society for Intelligence History, The Canadian Institute for Cyber Security, The Gregg Centre for War and Society, The UNB SJ Faculty of Arts, and the UNB Law School.

The series was funded by the US Consulate Office in Halifax, Nova Scotia and the University of New Brunswick.
