Deadline for the UNB Teaching Innovation Award - September 30

This award was established in 2015 and recognizes up to two UNB educators each year for their innovative approaches that promote student-centred teaching and learning. Award recipients receive a $500 award and official university recognition.


The Teaching Innovation Award is open to all full-time and contract academic employees at UNB currently employed at UNB. The individual must have taught at least two courses during the award year (12 months prior to nomination deadline). Up to two instructors will be chosen each year.

The deadline for submissions is Monday, Sept. 30, 2019, and the award will be determined in October 2019 and announced in November 2019.

Winners of UNB’s Teaching Innovation Award may wish to apply also for the national Society for Teaching & Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) Brightspace Innovation Award in Teaching and Learning.
