UNB's Muriel McQueen Fergusson Centre for Family Violence Research is hosting the official launch of "phase 3" of the Canadian Domestic Homicide Prevention Initiative (CDHPI) in Atlantic Canada on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 2 p.m.

The CDHPI is a national research project exploring the unique needs of Indigenous, immigrant and refugee, rural, remote and northern communities, and children who have been exposed to domestic violence and/or at risk of domestic homicide.

In collaboration with The University of Guelph, Western University, and various other academic institutions and community partners across Canada, the project is now entering Phase 3 - conducting interviews with survivors of domestic violence, and friends and family of victims of domestic homicide (UNB REB-2019-058).
