Dr. Thierry Chopin and the Department of Biological Sciences will be hosting three seminars from visiting scientists from Brazil:

Monday, Sept. 9 at 9 a.m. in the Hans W. Klohn Commons, G16  
Speaker:   Dr. Walter Quadros Seiffert (Director of Agrarian Sciences Center) – Possibilities of cooperation with the Agrarian Sciences Center of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Florianópolis, Brazil.

and

Monday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. in the Hans W. Klohn Commons, G16  
Speaker:  Dr. Leila Hayashi (Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Aquaculture) – The  CAPES/PrInt Project at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Florianópolis, Brazil

and

Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. at K.C. Irving Hall, 104

Speaker:  Dr. Leila Hayashi (Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Aquaculture) – The Brazilian Blue Revolution – the main challenges
