Your 2019-20 UNB Saint John Parking Permit will be available for purchase starting Wednesday, Aug. 21.

For the updated lists of prices and options, please visit the UNBSJ Security website.

There are three different options for purchasing your permit:

Option 1 (Most Efficient)
Faculty and Staff can purchase their permit via payroll deduction within their “e-services/personal/Purchase UNB parking permit.” Here you can select to have your permit sent through campus mail or pick-up at the security office (minimal line-ups).
Faculty/Staff/Students can purchase their permit via online registration at https://es.unb.ca/forms/parking-permit/ . Here you can select to pay via your UCard (ID card) and select pick-up at security (very small line-ups) and we’ll send an email to let you know when it’s ready for pick-up. Loading cash on your U Card via credit card/debit visa or at a PHIL station is easy https://www.unb.ca/ucard/add.html .

Option 2 (Kind of Efficient)
In the online permit registration https://es.unb.ca/forms/parking-permit/ , you can also select to pay on pickup at the Registrar’s Desk; however, you will experience long lines as the desk is very busy for the month of September. You can also fill in the forms and pay at the Registrar’s Desk if you wish to do so in person (only option for DMNB and NBCC students/staff/faculty).

Option 3 (Least Efficient)
You can opt to pay the $5/day parking at the Pay & Display terminals (accept coins or Visa/Mastercard) throughout the parking lots.
Pay hourly via Hotspot Parking app or with coins at the Meters (1-hour time limit).
Procrastinate - accumulate a couple permit violations first at $16 each then go to Option 1 or 2.
Gamble – don’t pay and accumulate violations at $16 each; get towed at $125; then go to Option 1 or 2 above.
