Try a progressive program this fall

Registration is now open for URec's fall fee-based programs. Our fee-based programs are designed to develop personal fitness and skills in a progressive group instruction format. We offer a variety of programs that cover a wide range of disciplines and populations. Programs are filling up fast for fall!

Here's a small sample of upcoming programs with spaces still available:  

  • CORE-Operate: This progressive fitness program is designed for those who wish to improve function, strength and tone of their core muscles. The CORE-Operate program will educate you on how to properly engage and train your core stabilizing muscles. This program is suitable for those with chronic low back pain, repetitive sprain/strain injuries to the low back, or for those who wish to have a healthier, stronger core.
  • Pilates Barre: Pilates Barre is a fresh, fun and energetic class! This class will give you a full-body workout by incorporating elements of Pilates, cardio, dance, and strength training. Bonus: you’ll workout to upbeat, invigorating music!
  • Yoga for Power & Grace: This class is inspired by the power of the Ashtanga system and includes complementary asanas to create an inspirational flow. Participants will feel deeply connected to both the mind and body by blending the balance of breath and continuous movement.
  • Intermediate Hip Hop Dance: New this fall is a fun, high-energy intermediate dance class! This class is designed for those with previous dance experience, and will focus on intermediate-level technique and choreography for both Hip Hop and Jazz! Come bust out, keep up and practice your moves with us!

All fee-based programs are open to URec members as well as non-members. Members receive a discounted price. The fall schedule is starting soon. Register online, in person at the Membership Services desk or by phone at (506) 453-4579.
