Special Public Plenary Lecture: “Of Mice and Mammoths: What the Fossil Record Tells Us About Extinction, Survival, and Resilience”

Dr. Jacquelyn Gill (University of Maine) will present the Public Plenary Lecture for the UNB-sponsored Joint Annual Meeting of the Canadian Society for Ecology and Evolution and the Entomological Society of Canada. 

She will present "Of Mice and Mammoths: What the Fossil Record Tells Us About Extinction, Survival, and Resilience” on Monday, Aug. 19, from 7 - 8 p.m., at the Fredericton Convention Centre (upper level, Point Ste. Anne rooms B/C/D).  Dr. Gill is a paleoecologist whose research involves climate change, extinction, and Ice Age ecosystems.
