Pay administration updates

Summer 2019 has been a great one and we only wish it could continue, but fall is soon upon us.

As you all know with September comes our many students who keep our campus alive and prosperous.

With this, the workload will also increase; therefore, we would like to bring a couple of items to your attention:

On our Human Resources and Organizational Development website we have the list of Payroll Cut-Off dates that we establish to help with the process of ensuring that all employees get paid in a timely manner. The cut off dates represent the date we require the forms in a “ready to be entered” format with all the required prior approvals completed.

Below is the link where the cut-off dates can be found:

It is also important that you use the HR link for the form you are submitting to ensure you have the most up-to-date version of the form. We have recently made some changes to the staff change form for administrative purposes and have also made some changes to the graduate funding cancellation form. Please do not save the link to your desktop or elsewhere as you may not be using the most up-to-date version.

Also, it is very important to start with a blank form each time to ensure an individual’s data is accurately submitted. We frequently receive forms that have been overtyped, therefore increasing the risk of paying the wrong person or incorrect amounts.

We prefer to receive only original forms (except for GSRA, GSTA, GRA, GAA Cancellation Forms). If for some reason you need to scan a form for payment, please do not send the original as well. This creates a situation where forms can get processed twice as we receive hundreds of forms, especially this time of year.

Below is the link where the forms are stored:

We thank you for your continued support and hope you have a great fall.

From your Human Resources Systems Team.
