The Mawoluhkhotipon Ally & Safe Space Program for Wabanaki and Indigenous Peoples will be holding a full-day training session on Friday, Aug. 23, from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., at the UNB Saint John campus.

Space is limited, but there will be additional sessions scheduled throughout the Fall and Winter.

The Mawoluhkhotipon Ally & Safe Space Program is an innovative project based at UNB Saint John to support a campus community that affirms, welcomes and supports Indigenous peoples who work, study and visit UNBSJ.  Developed in collaboration with Elders and Indigenous community representatives in New Brunswick, this program is one of many initiatives intended to support the mandate of UNB’s Truth and Reconciliation Strategic Action Plan.
