Are you interested in helping advance exercise, obesity, and diabetes research in New Brunswick?

UNBF’s Faculty of Kinesiology is looking for participants aged 19-50, who have not been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, and who are carrying extra body weight and/or who have pre-diabetes, to take part in The iMET Study. Participation in this study involves four visits: the initial visit will involve tests to measure various aspects of health and fitness, and the three following visits will involve exercise sessions supervised by a Kinesiologist.

Taking part in this study will not only provide you with more information on your health and physical activity levels, but will help others in our community struggling with their own.

Furthermore, by participating in the iMet Study, your name will be entered in a draw for a FREE one-month membership at The Richard J. CURRIE CENTER!

This study is on file with the UNB Research Ethics Board as UNB REB #2017-105.
