The UNBF Work-Study Program is now accepting applications from individuals, faculties and departments looking to hire students for the 2019-2020 academic year.

This program plays an important role in the recruitment of students to UNB, as well as the retention and engagement of students who participate.  While working towards their educational goals, students who participate in the Work-Study program are able to meet their current financial obligations, while connecting their work experiences to career development.

The program provides 71 per cent of the funding needed to hire an eligible student during the fall and/or winter term(s). Eligible students work part-time (10 hours per week) and gain valuable degree-related and/or employment-related experience.

Students employed via the Work-Study program will be paid $12.75 per hour plus vacation/holiday pay = $13.77 per hour. Project holders are responsible to contribute $4.03 per hour to the salary of the student.

This year, CDEC has added some changes to the Work Study application process. Please review the new Work Study Guidelines  before submitting an application.

The information and application form can be accessed on the Career Development and Employment Website.

The deadline to apply for funding is Friday, August 9, 2019.
