The Mawoluhkhotipon Ally & Safe Space Program for Wabanaki and Indigenous Peoples is an innovative project to support a campus community that affirms, welcomes and supports Indigenous peoples who work, study and visit UNB Saint John.  Developed in collaboration with Elders and Indigenous community representatives in New Brunswick, this program is one of many initiatives intended to support the mandate of UNB’s Truth and Reconciliation Strategic Action Plan.

Our next Level 1 (cultural and historical content) and Level 2 (stigma and allyship) sessions are available all day Tuesday, July 9, at UNBSJ.  While it is important to take both levels in sequence, you are welcome to attend just Level 1 if you wish.  There will be a second Level 2 session offered on the morning of Wednesday, July 10.

To register for the sessions or for more information, please email us at Ally & Safe Space Program.
