Have you ever been labelled obese (Body Mass Index > 30 kg/m2)? Are you 65 years of age or over? UNB researchers want to learn from you about your experiences in healthcare and throughout New Brunswick.

We are looking for people who speak and understand English. You will be interviewed twice every two to three months. You will meet the researcher at a public place of your choice and at a public site that has affected your wellbeing. You will be asked about your thoughts on how to improve New Brunswick healthcare for people of higher weights and how to make New Brunswick a healthier, safer, more welcoming place. You will be offered $25 for each interview ($50 total) in appreciation.

This study is led by Dr. Andrea Bombak, department of sociology, 506-453-5147. More information can be found by emailing NBOAweightstudy@gmail.com.
