UNB to host the 40th Canadian Remote Sensing Symposium and Geomatics Atlantic 2019

The University of New Brunswick is hosting the 40th Canadian Remote Sensing Symposium and Geomatics Atlantics 2019 from June 3 - 7, bringing experts from across the field to Fredericton.

Academics, practitioners, vendors and policy makers from the remote sensing and geomatics community will share knowledge under the theme of common perspectives and NewSpace, a movement surrounding the emerging private spaceflight industry.

A free public lecture will be held on Tuesday, June 4, focusing on the use of remote sensing and geomatics for flood monitoring in the greater Fredericton area. The lecture takes place at 7 p.m. in MacLaggan Hall, 105.
