The Faculty of Business Administration is changing its name to Faculty of Management, effective July 1, 2019. The name change was approved by UNB’s Board of Governors at this time last year.

While the names of its degrees will remain the same (Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration and Master of Quantitative Investment Management) this new name was chosen to reflect how graduates of the faculty are using their business knowledge and skills not only to run businesses and fill administrative roles, but to help them lead and manage projects and people in a wide variety of organizations across industries, including for-profit and non-profit enterprises. One of the strengths our industry partners have identified in our graduates is that, in addition to being professionally prepared for their careers, they tend to be willing and confident leaders, whether they fill management roles in an official capacity or not. This feedback has compelled us to change our name to Faculty of Management.
