Starting May 1, UNB is introducing a new centralized service for all faculties and departments ordering professionally printed material or branded merchandise.

These changes are required to better align UNB with government procurement regulations.

UNB Procurement Services and Print Services have worked together with the UNB community on several activities over the last 18 months to capture print needs and requirements. Based on your feedback, four print and merchandise categories were identified.

We are pleased to announce UNB’s awarded supplier list, effective May 1, for professional print and promotional material.

Category A: Business and Office Essentials (pamphlets, envelopes, business cards, letterhead, etc.)

  • Advocate Printing
  • Beaumont & Co
  • Mayday Fine Print
  • Six Colour Copy & Printing
  • Taylor Printing

Category B: Large Format and Signage (wayfinding, banners, blueprints, window graphics, etc.)

  • Advocate Printing
  • Beaumont & Co
  • Design Art Signs
  • Kiers Marketing
  • Taylor Printing Group
  • Valley Graphics

Category C: Specialty & Mailing (secure paper, magazines, mailouts, etc.)

  • Advocate Printing
  • Taylor Printing Group

Category D: Branded Merchandise and Engraving (pens, bags, shirts, swag, etc.)

  • Mayday Fine Print
  • SubTowne (existing contract with UNB)
  • University Bookstore (existing contract with UNB)
  • Valley Graphics

Key changes with the new centralized services:

  • UNB Procurement Services is issuing one blanket purchase order (PO) for each awarded supplier held and managed by Print Services, thereby streamlining the financial process.
  • To properly manage these POs, all faculties and departments, regardless of campus location or GL account type, will submit print quote requests and orders to Print Services using a new online form. Exclusion: for branded merchandise only, all faculties and departments will directly contact awarded suppliers to request quotes or place orders; payment will still be processed by Print Services.
  • When possible, Print Services will complete print orders in-house to reduce costs for UNB.
  • All payments for professional printing and branded merchandise must go through Print Services for final processing. Any professionally printed material or branded merchandise purchased outside this process many not be reimbursed and any exceptions need to be pre-authorized.

Print Services Open House April 25

All faculty and staff are invited to visit the Print Services office in Marshall d’Avray Hall room 106 on Thursday, April 25 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. to meet the Print Services team, tour the office, see the new digital equipment, and ask any questions you have about the new centralized services and ordering process.
