Please join me in offering condolences to family and friends of retired UNB electrician Malcolm (Mack) Cammack, who passed away on March 31 in Fredericton, NB. He was 76.

Originally from Bath, NB, Mack was a graduate of the Maritime Forest Ranger School in Fredericton (’66). He worked as an electrician at UNB’s Fredericton campus until his retirement in 1998. Prior to his position at UNB, Mack worked for ten years at NB Power.

In addition to his position at UNB, Mack served as president of the University of New Brunswick Employees Association from 1994 to 1997. He was very kind natured and effectively represented his fellow members during his tenure. He was also an avid outdoorsman, who spent much of his retirement travelling and enjoying time with friends.

No funeral or memorial service was held. Condolences can be made online.

Flags lowered on both the Fredericton and Saint John campuses on April 4. Mack will be deeply missed.

Sincerely,

Eddy Campbell

President and Vice-Chancellor
