The New Brunswick Institute for Research Data and Training (NB-IRDT) and the New Brunswick SPOR Network in Primary & Integrated Health Care Innovations (PIHCI) are pleased to announce they will be hosting a series of Evaluation Workshops, facilitated by professional evaluator, Marla Steinberg.

Collaborative Evaluation Planning – May 21-22 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

This workshop is for people who need to plan an evaluation but don’t know where to start. No prior knowledge of evaluation is required. The two-day workshop will lead learners through a step-wise process for collaboratively developing evaluations with stakeholders.

To fully benefit from this hands-on experiential workshop, participants should think of a program that they want to evaluate and come prepared to develop their evaluation plan!

Logic Models – May 23 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

This workshop will help participants create logic models that work for you. Going beyond what is usually offered in an introductory evaluation course, this workshop is for learners who want to maximize the value of logic models.

This workshop is for learners with prior knowledge or experience in evaluation. Coming to the workshop with a specific program evaluation in mind is highly recommended.

Indicators and Data Collection Tools – May 23 from 12 - 5 p.m.

This workshop will show you how to develop good indicators and use them to create data collection tools. Prior knowledge of evaluation is required but this workshop is for novice evaluators.

To maximize learning in this workshop, participants should have a program evaluation in mind and have already developed the main evaluation questions.
