CETL is hosting two D2L (Brightspace) workshops in December.  The workshop titles, dates and times are listed below:

Using Quizzes in D2L Brightspace – Monday, Dec. 10 (10 – 11:30 a.m.)
In this workshop, participants will learn how to create, manage and grade quizzes. You’ll learn about the Question Library and how to create a variety of question types. We’ll also cover how to randomize the answers within multiple choice questions, how to randomize the order of the questions within the quiz, and how to give users special access to quizzes.

Using Grades in D2L Brightspace – Tuesday, Dec. 11 (10:30 – 11:30 a.m.)
In this workshop, participants will become familiar with the Grades tool. You’ll learn to enter and manage grades, create your own course specific grade scheme, and how to set up a grade system that meets the needs of your class. We’ll also look at the Setup Wizard, the three types of grade items you can select (Points/Weight/or Formula) for your class and how you can quickly and easily submit your final grades.

This session will be facilitated by Jeff Mundee, CETL Instructional Technology Specialist, and both sessions will be held in Marshall d'Avray Hall, 249.

Registration is limited to five people.  Please register online at CETL Event Registration site.
