Screening of the movie Indian Horse-FR

All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend a screening of the movie Indian Horse. The movie is an adaptation of the book by the same name written by the late Richard Wagamese. The story follows the life of Canadian First Nations boy, Saul Indian Horse, as he survives residential school and life amongst the racism of the 1970s. A talented hockey player, Saul must find his own path as he battles stereotypes and alcoholism. For more information, visit https://www.indianhorse.ca.

This free event will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 13,  5 – 8 p.m., in the auditorium (room 215) of the new Kinesology Building at UNB Fredericton. The film will be shown from 5 – 7 p.m. with a group discussion to follow, 7 – 8 p.m.

This event is being hosted by as part of SOCI/NURS/KIN 1525: Introduction to the experiences of the Waponahkiyik People. All are welcome!
