We are now recruiting for prenatal home visiting with UNB nursing students for January and February 2019. This is a free service offered to pregnant families. How it works: Two students will visit four times, each visit lasting approximately one hour, with an expectant person/family at a time and location convenient for the pregnant client. The visits generally take place in the family's home or at a place that is convenient for the pregnant client, and will focus on providing information that the pregnant person/family requests.

Students will bring a “Learning Interests Checklist” with a number of topics that are of common interest for the family to choose from. Families are welcome to add other topics that may be of interest to them and are related to the pregnancy, birth, or care of the newborn. Students are supervised by a faculty instructor. If you are interested or know someone who would love having nursing students come for prenatal visiting, please contact Kelly Day RN BN, 447-3047, kellyday@unb.ca
