Make every conversation count - Fierce Conversations Workshop will take place on Monday, Dec. 3, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., in the Wu Conference Centre, Aitken Room.

Fierce workshop attendees learn to ignite productive dialog that provokes learning, resolves tough challenges and enriches relationships. It’s the place to begin, the cornerstone of great leadership and a healthy culture.

This isn’t a lecture series. Each workshop is highly interactive, invoking ‘real-play’ where participants use actual scenarios from their life to practice. This creates immediate relevance, and actionable items for participants so when they leave they are fully prepared to have a Fierce Conversation enhancing respect, honesty and accountability in promoting those healthy conversations.

During the day we will cover two modules: Foundation and Confrontation.

Foundation addresses barriers we encounter every day, especially the communication and interpersonal barriers that stand in the way of success.

Confrontation gives you the tools necessary to enrich relationships and salvage projects that might be on the brink of disaster. Understanding common pitfalls made during a confrontation can help you avoid taking steps back and instead arrive at a resolution.

Registration:  Space is limited.  Your seat is guaranteed if you confirm attendance by Monday, Nov. 26.  After that time, we will still hope to accommodate all interested UNB staff and faculty.  RSVP to president@unb.ca.

There is currently no charge for this program for UNB faculty and staff.

Coffee and snacks available for 8:30 a.m. and the day starts promptly at 9 a.m.  Lunch will also be provided.
