Effective January 2, 2019, a new self-serve model for supporting video conference calls between the Saint John and Fredericton campuses will be implemented. The ISS department is pleased to report that efforts to standardize services, increase stability and disseminate instructions have been so successful they are confident that now is the time to move forward with this service model.

To assist users with the transition to this new model several steps have been taken:

  • A new AV Help line (648-5855) has been created and will be clearly displayed on the phones in each video conference room on campus.
  • Instructions for the technology in all classroom and conference room spaces has been added to the ISS Classroom page.
  • All video conference requests will be added to our support? calendar,? so we are aware of them and prepared to assist if required.
  • When requests are received you will be sent customized instructions for the room you have booked.

Training on the systems in any of our conference rooms or classrooms is available by contacting Kris Doucet, kdoucet@unb.ca, 648-5954.

Please note: Full audio visual support will still be available for calls with special requirement, and for 'outside the box' events. Full support will be provided for the remainder of 2018.
