Since 2015, in conjunction with Beaverdam Recyclers, the UNB Art Centre has proudly rescued electronics from going to the landfill. Sadly, Beaverdam Recyclers is leaving Fredericton, and as a result, we will no longer be able to collect electronic recycling in our lobby.

Please take your electronic recycling to Best Metals, Northside Redemption Centre, and Southside Redemption Centre. Old electronic devices contain toxic substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium and chromium, proper processing is essential to ensure that these materials are not released into the environment. They may also contain other heavy metals and potentially toxic chemical flame retardants.

Please continue to dispose of your old electronics properly.
