The Future of Innovation Conference is an opportunity for thought leaders from around the world to come and share their ideas and solutions. It is a conference meant to spark Bold Ideas, and inspire others to tackle difficult challenges they may face. The conference begins by outlining the four frontiers of innovation.

Cybersecurity – Understanding the digital world continues to grow, and new threats and opportunities are arising. To shape the future, awareness of the challenges we will face must be achieved.

Transportation – The world’s population increases and cities continue to expand, society will be facing transportation problems, unlike in the past. New solutions in this field will shape how Canada and the world will develop.

Energy – Power demands are at an all-time high, while non-renewable sources are decreasing. To better prepare for the energy demands of tomorrow, we must know what researchers and innovators are doing now.

Education – Without education, the world would not continue to develop. It is this generation’s responsibility for teaching the next generation and informing them of possibilities that they have.

These pillars of ingenuity play major roles in how our world is shaped. The speakers who are gathering have experiences in these fields and will enlighten us on how they have changed the face of each industry. The Centre is proud to be bringing world-class speakers such as Bibop Gresta from Hyperloop Transporation Technologies, Steve Blank serial Entrepreneur and founder of the Lean-Startup Movement, and Ann Makosinski young entrepreneur and google science fair winner to Fredericton to share their experiences and encourage the conversation about leadership and exploration. These are only a few of the many inspiring individuals that the Centre is excited to attract to our city.
