The Centre for Enhanced Teaching and Learning is pleased to announce Khaldoun Aldiabat as the recent Visiting Scholar who will be engaged with the centre this Fall 2018. We are pleased to have him spend his term focusing on an excellent teaching & learning related project.

Khaldoun Aldiabat, an Assistant Professor of Nursing at UNB Moncton, will be working on refining flipped classroom methods for a nursing research course running during the fall 2018 term, and designing a course about families and population health for the winter 2019 term, also using flipped classroom methods. "Flipped" refers to switching the homework and application activities to the classroom time, where they can be completed with constructive guidance from the instructor and switching the major part of content presentation to outside of classroom time, mostly online. Khal will be interacting with specialists within CETL to achieve his goals.
