The Monday Night Film Series will present 'First Reformed' on Monday, Sept. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in Tilley Hall, 102.

Tortured by the loss of a son he encouraged to enlist in the armed forces, a church minister and ex-military chaplain (Ethan Hawke) struggles with his faith when a pregnant woman (Amanda Seyfried) and her radical environmentalist husband come to him for counselling, in the latest from Paul Schrader (Taxi Driver, Raging Bull).

This term, 15 limited release, independent foreign and Canadian films will be shown. Admission is $8/film, but a half-yearly $12 student film society membership reduces admission cost to $5/film. The series is open to all. Memberships are available at Tilley Hall, 102 every Monday night.
