Student Services is pleased to welcome Rebecca Caissie as the new Student Accessibility Support Coordinator.

Rebecca holds a Master of Arts in Literature from Acadia.  She is enrolled in the IDST PhD program at UNB Saint John, researching the new form of literature, video games, and how that evolution in literature furthers our story telling capabilities.  She has recently completed the Diploma of University Teaching.  No stranger to the UNB support team, she has served as an invigilator and worked as a T.A. over the last few years.  She is a published poet, enjoys the local arts with family and friends, and is an avid volunteer within the community.

Accessibility services are an important part of a comprehensive retention and student success strategy that supports the learning needs of students; meeting students’ documented needs helps to equalize educational opportunities for students.

Student Services is pleased to offer students these essential accessibility services on campus, and welcomes Rebecca to its already excellent team.
