Join us for this session on Thursday, Aug. 16, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Marshall d'Avray Hall, 334. The session will be facilitated by Patrick Reynolds, Math & Stats at UNBF.

Crowdmark is a collaborative online grading platform that is particularly useful for assessments with multiple graders (though this is not the only use case). It allows for better feedback, grading anywhere and anytime, saving comments for other graders to use, oversight of TA grading, progress monitoring, and much more. It almost eliminates the need to handle hard copies of assessments, which greatly speeds up marking workflow, and delivers results to students via email.

For 2018-19, UNB has a site license to try the software. The facilitator will be going over the basics and highlighting the main features. He notes that he has known about Crowdmark for some years and was very skeptical of its utility, until he tried it in a real marking setting and was thoroughly impressed; when he asked a colleague at another institution for his honest thoughts on the software, he replied "I simply cannot imagine how I could do without it."
