2018-19 UNB Work-Study Program now accepting proposals-FR

The UNB Work-Study Program is now accepting applications from individuals, faculties and departments looking to hire students for the 2018/19 academic year.  
 
This program plays an important role in the recruitment of students to the University of New Brunswick campus, a vital role in the retention and engagement of students at the university, while assisting them in meeting their current financial obligations, and plays a critical role in helping them achieve their educational goals.  The program provides 70% of the funding needed to hire an eligible student during the fall and/or winter term(s). Eligible students work part-time (10 hours per week) and gain valuable degree-related and/or employment-related experience.

Students employed via the Work-Study program will be paid $12.50 per hour plus vacation/holiday pay = $13.50 per hour. Project holders are responsible to contribute $4.03 per hour to the salary of the student.
