Forestry and Environmental Management students garner attention for deer management plan-FR

A group of five fourth-year students from UNB’s faculty of forestry and environmental management was featured in news stories across Canada for developing a nuisance deer management plan to help the Town of St. Andrews combat its deer overpopulation issue.

Courtney la Roux, Angela Dick, Nicole Hornsby, Maddie Hall and Dominique Williams developed their Nuisance Deer Management Plan for this year’s 4020 Capstone Practicum course at UNB. The plan, along with seven other projects developed by classmates, was presented last Friday at the Forestry and Geography Building.
