Candidates for the Dean of Arts-SJ

Faculty, staff and students are invited to the public presentations for the Dean of Arts at UNB Saint John candidates:
 
Dr. Antony Puddephatt, Associate Professor, Lakehead University
Dr. Heidi MacDonald, Associate Professor, University of Lethbridge
Dr. Christian Riegel, Professor, University of Regina
 
The presentations will take place as follows:

Antony Puddephatt:  Wednesday, April 4, from 3 – 4 p.m., in Hazen Hall 232.
 
Heidi MacDonald:  Friday, April 6, from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., in Oland Hall 104.
 
Christian Riegel:  Monday, April 9, from 3 – 4 p.m., in Ganong Hall 115.
 
These sessions will consist of a 20-minute presentation by each candidate with a question and answer period to follow. All are welcome to attend.
 
The curriculum vitae for each candidate is available at the Office of the Vice-President, Oland Hall 110.
 
The Search Committee invites you to submit comments and feedback on the candidates.
 
Please send your written submissions to the Office of the Vice-President Saint John, in confidence by: inter-campus mail to Brenda LeBlanc, Office of the Vice President Saint John, Room 110, UNB Saint John; E-mail to Brenda LeBlanc (leblancb@unb.ca).
 
The deadline for receipt of written submissions is 12 noon on Monday, April 23, 2018.  Submissions will be made available to the members of the committee for consideration in reaching a recommendation for appointment.
 
Your written submission need not be signed.  If you do not wish to sign your submission, it should be sent as a hard copy rather than electronically. Your letter should be placed in a sealed and unmarked envelope, inside an outer envelope addressed as set out above, and which must bear your name and signature. Upon receipt of your submission, the information on the outer envelope will be used to verify you are a member of the UNB community, and that envelope will be discarded.  The inner envelope will be set aside and opened subsequently. You may, of course, submit a signed letter or e-mail without the need for the above procedure. No anonymous submissions will be accepted except as provided above.
