The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation is one of the most prestigious funders of scholarly research in Europe.  It offers competitive fellowships and prizes to academics at all career stages who want to further their research in Germany.  Applicants do not need to speak German, and they can pursue research at a university or institute of their choice as guests of a local faculty member.

The Humboldt Foundation supports top scholars from all over the globe without quotas by subject area or place of origin, allowing them the funding and freedom to pursue their research goals.  The Foundation prides itself on the complete support it provides to researchers, including allowances for spouses and children while in Germany.

An information session on the Foundation’s programs for scholars ranging from finishing doctoral candidates through to established faculty members is scheduled for Thursday, April 19, 3:30 - 5:30 p.m., in the Alumni Lounge & President’s Room.

Please register for the event.
