The NB Network in Primary and Integrated Health Care Innovations (PIHCI) invites you to join them on Thursday, May 10, from 5:30 - 9 p.m., at the Grand Hall, for the first Patients’ Den, where patient advisors will help set research priorities in New Brunswick. They will be granting three awards, up to $5,000 each, to research teams who are proposing to work on a project that responds to the NB PIHCI Priorities. The funding is to be used to help support research teams with further developing their research ideas and/or the development of grant applications.

Interested research teams will be asked to submit an online application and, if approved, will present their proposed research project at an in-person event on May 10. Applicants will have approximately 10 minutes to present, and may use visual aids. After each presentation, there will be a brief question and answer period.

The applications will be assessed by a panel of patients to determine how well the proposed ideas address the NB PIHCI priorities. A panel of researchers will also assess each project to ensure the scientific merit of the study.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with an event start time of 6 p.m.

*** Researcher applications must be submitted online through the NB PIHCI website no later than 4 p.m. AST on March 29, 2018.
