Dr. Herb Emery, Vaughan Chair in Regional Economics at UNB, and Amanda Hachey, UNB alumna and director at NouLAB, will be speaking at the Atlantic Summit: Immigration & Revitalization Conference at the Fredericton Convention Centre on Wednesday, March 21.

The all-day summit, organized by the Public Policy Forum, is the start of a three-year research project that focuses on Atlantic revitalization and immigrant retention. The program will look at research, stories, discussion and debate about how to develop policies that help local economies and make the region a place for newcomers to plant roots.

For more information and an agenda, see www.ppforum.ca/event/atlantic-summit/. Registration to the conference is free.
