New venue for McCain presentation - From Candidate to Professional-FR

How much do you know about the world of human resource management? How much do you about McCain Foods? Join us on Feb. 23 to learn about how HRM works at McCain Foods, at their home base in Florenceville, N.B., and at the 53 plants they operate in 160 countries around the world employing 20,000 people.

UNB Fredericton’s MBA Professional Development class invites you to join them for a presentation by Alison DeMille, Chief Human Resources Officer with McCain Foods, on Feb. 23 from 1 - 2:30 p.m. in the Kent Auditorium of the Wu Conference Centre (please note the change in venue since our last notice). Alison will be speaking on the topic “HR Careers at McCain Foods Ltd: From Candidate to Professional.” Her talk will concentrate on the HR career opportunities available at McCain Foods, but you will learn about the interesting history and worldwide operations of one of New Brunswick’s most successful companies.  You will also learn what it takes to be a committed and successful professional, no matter where you end up working.

About Alison DeMille:

Alison is the Chief Human Resource Officer at McCain Foods Ltd. Her career in HR spans over 20 years with her primary focus being on growth, start-ups and organizational effectiveness. Since completing an advanced degree in HR & Labour Relations at McMaster University, and a Master of Industrial Relations degree from Queen’s University, she has worked in senior roles in multiple countries (Canada, USA, UK, and China) with a focus on organizational design, building culture, organizational transformation and building/leading business-focused HR teams. She is particularly skilled in the role of trusted advisor to division presidents and senior teams.
